The National Frozen Pizza Institute joined with a coalition of more than 40 food groups to urge the Senate to reject efforts to include a costly and complicated new Dairy Market Stabilization Program in new Farm Bill legislation. NFPI urged the Senate to proivde important protections for American dairy farmers without imposing a new government supply program that would increase costs for pizza makers and saddle consumers with higher prices at the gorcery store.
The National Frozen Pizza Institute recently held webinars focused on helping member companies understand and comply with major new Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and USDA school nutrition regulations. Materials presented during the webinars are now available for download by NFPI members.
